Conditions for staying with pets at the hotel
1. Introduction
- 1.1. These regulations set out the rules for the stay of animals at the Hit Hotel.
- 1.2. Booking a stay with an animal and signing these regulations constitutes acceptance thereof.
- 1.3. Only domestic animals (e.g. dogs, cats and small pets) are accepted at the hotel, subject to prior notification at the time of booking.
- 1.4. The hotel may refuse to accept an animal if it was not notified in advance, if acceptance and signing of the regulations are refused, if the required documents are missing, or if the animal poses a threat to other guests.
2. Fees and Conditions for Animals’ Stay
- 2.1. A fee of 60 zł per night is charged for each animal
(60 zł per 1 animal / 1 night). - 2.2. The hotel may charge a refundable deposit or an additional cleaning fee in the event of above-standard soiling or the need to neutralise odours in the room (in accordance with the hotel’s price list).
- 2.3. Animals must be healthy, free from parasites and have up-to-date vaccinations (at the staff’s request, the guest must present proof of vaccination).
- 2.4. In the common areas of the hotel:
a) dogs must be kept on a leash or in a cage, and large dogs must also wear a muzzle,
b) cats and other animals must be carried in carriers/cages. - 2.5. Animals are not permitted in areas designated by the hotel as off-limits (e.g. service/technical areas, dining areas – where applicable).
- 2.6. A maximum of 2 animals may stay in one room, subject to prior arrangement with the hotel (unless the hotel gives written consent for a greater number).
- 2.7. For safety reasons, rooms in which animals are staying are cleaned only when the animal is absent from the room. Each day, the animal’s owner is required to arrange with Reception the time at which the hotel staff will provide cleaning service in the hotel room.
- 2.8. If the animal is accustomed to being left alone at home without its owner, then whenever the animal is left unattended in the hotel room, an appropriate hanger must be placed on the handle on the outside of the door.
3. Responsibilities of the Animal Owner
- 3.1. The owner shall exercise constant supervision over the animal and shall be responsible for its behaviour.
- 3.2. The owner is obliged to:
a) maintain cleanliness and clean up after the animal on the hotel premises and in its surroundings,
b) provide the animal with suitable hygienic and sanitary conditions,
c) provide the animal with a bed/protective mat (the animal should not be on the bed/bedding without protection). - 3.3. Hotel guests are required to leave their telephone number for the duration of their stay at the hotel, in case hotel staff need to contact them if the animal is a nuisance or poses a threat to the safety of other people while it is left in the room during the Guest’s absence.
- 3.4. The animal must not disturb the peace of other guests (barking, howling, aggression, causing damage). In the event of complaints, the hotel may demand the immediate removal of the animal from the hotel and, in extreme cases, termination of the stay.
4. Liability for Damage
- 4.1. The owner bears full financial liability for damage caused by the animal in the room, common areas and on the hotel premises, as well as for damage caused to third parties.
- 4.2. If damage is identified, the hotel has the right to charge the guest for the costs of repair, cleaning, odour neutralisation or replacement of damaged property.
5. Hotel Liability
- 5.1. The hotel is not liable for the health and safety of animals left unattended or for incidents and illnesses affecting animals resulting from the guest’s failure to comply with the regulations.
5.2. The guest is responsible for securing the animal and property in the room (e.g. cage/carrier, locking the door).
